Protein Power Bites and Some Autumn Signs

This summer we were at a friend's house and she had made some of these delicious protein bites. I fell in love with them. Hannah was kind enough to share the recipe and I've been making these with the girls about twice a week - hahaha!  They only take a few minutes to make and I love how much healthier it is to grab one of these instead of cookie when I am craving something sweet.

Protein Power Bites (from Hannah)

1/3 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup Ground Flaxseed
1/2 Peanut Butter
1 Cup Whole Oats
1 Scoop Protein Powder (Optional)
1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1/2 Tsp. Salt

Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls and that's it!

We also wanted to let you know another batch of our "And let there be for every pulse a thanksgiving, and for everything breath a song" will be available Thursday morning at 10 EST.

And our "Enter His gates with thanksgiving..." signs will be available Thursday at 10 AM EST as well!

We hope you all are having a fabulous week!

"And Let There Be For Every Pulse a Thanksgiving, and For Every Breath a Song..."

Wow! I can't believe it is officially fall! Oh how I love this time of year as the mornings get cooler and cooler and the leaves all start changing. I just wanted to pop in today to let you know that tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 10 EST we will be listing the first batch of our newest sign. I absolutely love this quote by Konrad Von Gesner and think this is such a wonderful sentiment to have hanging in your home not only in the fall but also year round.

We also have this quote available as a print which is available now!

And you can find this beautiful silver serving piece as part of our curated collection over at Painted Fox.

Some More Autumn Decorating

Although we have a lot of neutral fall decor throughout most of the house we have added some more traditional fall colors to some of the rooms starting with our den. We cut some branches from the maple trees in our yard and then added in some orange pillows and throws from HomeGoods to help add some color and then some warm cozy knit pillows that we got last year from Soft Surroundings.

These antler pillows are from Birch Lane last year.

This lovely basket is from Painted Fox Treasures:

And we added more of those orange pillows and blankets in our guest room along with some branches. Some I've had for years and years and a few are new this year from Pier 1 and Savvy Home and Garden.

And then in our entryway we added this new sign which we will have available in our shop on Thursday, Sept. 24th at 10am EST.

That's it for today. I hope you all have a lovely weekend! You can find source lists for all of these rooms by clicking here.

Fall House Tour 2015

We are excited to be a part of Kelly's Eclectically Fall Home Tour again this year. Be sure to check out Kelly's beautiful house over at Eclectically Vintage which is the first stop on the tour:

Unfortunately there have been no real pumpkins anywhere to be found around here so far this year, I even called some of the farms with no luck, so for now I just have some simple early fall decor in most of the rooms and then hopefully in another few weeks I will be able to start adding in lots of pumpkins and other fall details.

In the dining room we just added all of our dried hydrangeas from the last couple of years into our antique dough bowl and then a simple wheat wreath from HomeGoods onto our sideboard. The hydrangeas are starting to look pretty faded this year so I think I need to switch them out this year for some new ones. I got these ones at the farmer's market but am hoping to cut from some our yard this year.

For the kitchen the girls picked out this cute little stuffed animal, some twig balls and branches from the yard.

To the rest of our kitchen/family room space we just added some faux pumpkins, fresh eucalyptus, and an olive branch wreath. I can't wait to add some real pumpkins in here!

And we added some cozy pillows and blankets for fall and winter.

Up in our guest room we added some more fresh eucalyptus, feathers, and faux pumpkins:

This is one of my favorite autumn prints:

In our master bedroom we added some freshly cut branches and some more faux pumpkins.

And if you are wondering if we have added any traditional autumn colors yet - yes, we have in a few of the rooms, but seeing how this post is already very picture heavy I will do another post later this week sharing more images of these spaces but here are few shots:

This sign will be available in our shop September 24th.

Now it's on to the next stop at one of my favorite blogs, Rooms for Rent. Be sure to head over and check out Bre's beautiful home decorated for fall:

Also, Good Housekeeping is featuring the tour along with lots of other fall inspiration.

I hope you all have a fabulous Monday and a wonderful week ahead!

P.S. You can find paint color and very detailed source lists for all of the room in our home by clicking here.
